The Universal Postal Union through the
International Bureau has recently called on all postal administrations to
participate in this year’s letter writing competition with the theme: Write a
letter about why water is precious.”
Only young people up to 15 years of age are
qualified to join the contest. The composition must be recent and original
letters – in English – must not exceed the limit of 800 words in length. It
must take the form of a letter - typewritten.
On a separate sheet of paper, the participant
must indicate the following information:

Winners shall receive the following prizes:
First
Prize = P15,000.00 + Medal, Plaque and Stamp Albums
Second
Prize = 10,000.00 + Medal, Plaque and Stamp Albums
Third
Prize = 5,000.00 + Medal, Plaque and Stamp Albums
The 1st prize winning entry shall
be sent by PPC to the Int’l Bureau as the Philippines’ official entry to the 41st
Int’l Letter Writing Competition for Young People (2013).
